Cambric Corporation hires new Vice President of Client Engineering Solutions

Former leader at Timken, MSC tapped to improve customer relations and value position of global engineering services firm

SALT LAKE CITY — Engineering services organization, Cambric Corporation, announced today that it has selected Tom Phillips, Ph.D., to fill the new position of Vice President, Client Engineering Solutions. In this role Dr. Phillips will be responsible for managing the significant growth of Cambric’s account management and project management activities which enable the company to deliver its customized, value based services. In addition to this responsibility, he will collaborate on high-level corporate strategies to expand engineering initiatives with Cambric’s globally renowned clientele.

He is very well qualified to carry out this role.”

Phillips joins Cambric with significant engineering experience. Most recently, he worked as Director, Technology Operations with The Timken Company. Prior to Timken, he held a senior management position with MSC Software with full responsibility for delivering services solutions in North America. Phillips received both his master’s and doctorate degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
